Long passage at end describes Lewis Carroll and his common ties to Germany, the story of Alice in Wonderland's publishing and how it eventually came to Germany.

Includes the passage:
Die Ihr deutſche Kinder ſeid,
heißt willkommen dieſe Maid!
Aufenthaltserlaubnisſcheine
hat ſie, meines Wiſſens, keine ;
doch ein Büchlein – eins mit Bildern
bringt ſie mit: das mag ſie ſchildern
beſſer als ein Paß es kann.
Leſt es durch und ſagt mir dann,
ob das Kind nicht unter Euch
bleiben ſoll im Deutſchen Reich.
Sagen laßt mich noch das eine:
Gebt Ihr Geld aus für die Kleine,
gibt auch ſie den Reingewinn
der „Deutſchen Kinderhilfe" hin.

Roughly translates to:
Whom you German children owe,
welcomes this maiden!
Residence permits
I know she has none;
but a booklet - one with pictures
bring her with you: she may describe that
better than a passport can.
Read it through and then tell me
whether the child is not among you
should remain in the German Reich.
