In 2 parts with 2 volumes to each part. Black leather 3/4 binding. Specked endpapers and page edges.
One of the largest and most lavishly illustrated of the 19th century Shakespeare editions and one that is very rare, especially in this condition.
Some scuffs and cracks to leather binding and wear to edges as well as an inscription on front endpaper. Covers are all attached and binding tight except for one small section of one volume that is loose. Occasional spot or smudge but pages otherwise clean and unmarked.
