One of the loveliest editions of Lewis Carroll's classic work. Text throughout is bordered by pale green, intricate, decorative borders featuring creatures from Carroll's story. Full page black and white plates by Peter Newell throughout.

Jacket has light wear to edges and paper is a bit unevenly toned, though gilt lettering is bright and clear and jacket overall is in superb condition considering age and rarity. Covers and spine are clean and bright. Some small chips on gilt Alice, otherwise excellent. Binding tight. Pages throughout are clean and unmarked.
