A rare collection of fairy tales illustrated with a color frontispiece by Rackham and black and white illustrations throughout by a group of some of the finest illustrators of their era: Arthur Rackham, Hugh Thomson, Bernard Partridge, Lewis Baumer, Harry Rountree and C. Wilhelm. First edition.

Cover is unusually clean and bright. Rubbing to corners, cover edges and hinges. Light fading to spine, spine ends crushed. Uneven coloring on back cover. Internal repairs where the endpapers have been neatly glued down at hinges (see pics). Slight separations at edges where these repairs were made. Binding is otherwise sound. Small inscription on early title. Pages otherwise unmarked.
