One of the loveliest editions of Lewis Carroll's classic sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Text throughout is bordered by pale green, intricate, decorative borders featuring creatures from Carroll's story. Black and white plates by Peter Newell throughout.

Covers and spine are a bit darkened and unevenly toned/smudged. Small chips to gilt. Spine ends a bit crushed, corners bumped. Large inscription on front free endpaper with additional discoloration to page. Binding is sound and pages throughout are unmarked with exception of very occasional, light foxing. Lovely deckled page edges.
