5 full page, wonderful engravings and black and white illustrations throughout. Published in 1893 by J M Dent & Co.

"The whole of the illustrations, head and tail-pieces and initials in this volume, together with the design for the cover, are by MR. J. D. BATTEN. The photo gravure reproductions have been executed and printed by the SwAN ELECTRIC ENGRAVING COMPANY; the remainder of the illustrations are from incographs by Messrs. WATERLOW & Sons, except that facing page 196 and the title page, which are in Dallastype, by Mr. D. C. DALLAS.

Note from Dixon: "The text of the present selection from the ARABIAN NIGHTS is that of Galland, 182I, slightly abridged and edited. The edition is designed virginibus puerisque."
