Extremely rare collection of fairy tales edited by Ernest Rhys and Illustrated by Herbert Cole. Published in 1906 by JM Dent and E P Dutton. First edition. Black and white illustrations and color plates throughout, all pages and plates present. Roughly cut page edges, a very charming book overall.

Split in cloth at top quarter of spine, fading to spine, discolorations/grubbiness to covers. Wear to cover edges and hinges. Endpapers tanned unevenly. Binding uneven but intact. Some light spots here and there but overall clean and unmarked.

Split into 3 sections: "Fairy Tales and Romances," "Mother Jack's Fairy Book," and "Later Fairy Tales and Rhymes"
