Professionally rebound with original covers and spine applied on top of navy blue leather.
Book is complete internally including original pictorial endpapers and 25 tipped-in plates with tissue guards. Original spine cloth has 2 strips of repair tape over gilt sword. Original cover cloth has some light discoloration spots but is largely clean with bright gilt.
Last three pics of the listing include the following notable issues: a few pages including contents are loose at lower half, binding is otherwise tight. Last page which includes printing information is stained and taped on reverse. Back endpapers are damaged at center. Other than these issues there is the occasional light crease, occasional light smudge and minor wear to edges.
