A beautiful first, new and enlarged edition of My Days with the Fairies, illustrated by Edmund Dulac and published by Hodder and Stoughton circa 1910.
It is extremely rare with gorgeous pictorial gilt and inked cover and spine and 8 beautiful, tipped-in color plates by Dulac. Each has an embellished tissue guard featuring a fairy and caption. Plates are mounted to textured paper.
Wear to cloth of front hinge with separation at top, rubbing to corners and spine ends. Discolorations to red cloth of front and back cover though ink and gilt largely clear and bright. Small signature and 1913 date on front free endpaper. Pages are otherwise clean and complete, all plates and tissue guards present.
