Beautifully bound set of Robert Shumann's Symphonies 1-4. Finely bound in full, dark blue leather by Baker & Son, Clifton for Clifton College. Prize binding with award plate on inside of front cover.
Undated publishing, award plate is dated 1898.
Leather is unevenly toned on covers and shows some scuffing but is still very beautiful with bright gilt crests and elements on spine. Rubbing to cover edges and bands on spine. Binding tight, pages unmarked though page edges slightly tanned.
