Spine has gouge breaking through board beneath cloth but not effecting binding. Cover cloth is fairly grubby and spotted, though gilt is bright and clear. Light wear to edges. Moderate foxing throughout text pages and black and white illustrations, but no foxing present on color plates or the green card stock that backs them. Binding tight and sound.
