A very rare first edition published in 1909. Lovely in-text, color illustrations and four full page plates by Margaret Ely Webb. Illustrations are printed in green and red tones.

Spine is faded and scuffed, spine ends worn and fraying. Cover is lightly scuffed, corners are bumped. Light Marks and sticker residue on front endpapers, occasional foxing, last page has some staining (pictured).
