Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, JM Barrie, illustrated by Arthur Rackham, Charles Scribner's Sons New York, 1908

Beautiful, large, early 1908 US printing of the first edition of Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens, bound in green cloth. Illustrated with 50 tipped-in color plates by Arthur Rackham on heavy card stock paper.

Some discolorations/toning to covers, most notable on back. Corners and spine ends rubbed. Gilt on spine and cover bright and clear. Binding very firm and good. Clean endpapers, hinges strong. Some wear to page edges and occasional small crease to tissue gaurds but pages and plates otherwise unmarked and all present.

One of the most beautiful and collectible books illustrated by Arthur Rackham.
