Peter and Wendy, J.M. Barrie, F D Bedford, Charles Scribner's Sons, Later Printing with Dust Jacket

This is a later printing of the first US edition, initially published in 1911. This was likely published in the early 1920s. This book features a beautiful (near pristine) pictorial gilt cover, original and very rare dust jacket, and wonderful black and white plates throughout by F D Bedford.

All pages and plates present. Light wear around cover edges, corners and spine ends with some crushing of top spine end. Covers and spine are mostly exceptionally bright and clean. Small inscription on front endpaper. Some light foxing to top edge of pages. Marks to title page. Pages otherwise unmarked. Dust jacket has wear to edges (small tears, losses and tanning) but is not price clipped and is in one piece.

A lovely book overall.
