Three quarter crushed morocco leather over tawny watered silk, covers with gilt fleur-de-lys decoration. Color frontispiece on each volume. 119 photogravure illustrations (mostly portraits), 4 typogravure illustrations.

In wonderful condition with 4 volumes unopened and all with only minor defects including light wear to hinges and cover edges and a small chip to one spine head.
