Wraxall's Memoirs, published in 1836 by Richard Bentley, Publisher in Ordinary to His Majesty. Finely bound.
Wraxall, born 1751-1815, was the judge-advocate and paymaster of the East India Company and later entered politics in the late 1700s where he interacted with royalty. His memoirs recount his experiences during these times and are considered historically important.
This set shows some wear to spine ends with some little chips at edges, a few scratches to leather on covers, gilt pages edges a bit worn and scratched, otherwise very good and a lovely looking set overall.
